Video Embed and Player Tips

These guides help you place published DynTube videos and channels in websites and applications, pass supported player options, add viewer-specific watermarks, and troubleshoot platform-specific embedding. Start from the embed code generated for your video or channel so the identifier and playback host match your account.

Choose the simplest embed that meets the need

Use the responsive iframe for normal playback. Add the DyntubePlayer v2 SDK only when your application needs a programmatic player reference or event control. Use a channel embed when viewers need a collection rather than one video.

Framework and CMS guides

  • Embed the DynTube player in React or Next.js with a client-rendered iframe and optional v2 SDK.
  • Embed a single video or a channel in WordPress and LearnDash using a Custom HTML block.
  • Configure Patreon and its current embed intermediary together with allowed origins.
  • Load videos or channels dynamically from stable embed keys returned by DynTube.

Player customization

  • Control supported playback behavior with URL parameters.
  • Add a dynamic watermark containing an approved viewer or session label.
  • Use player presets and supported customization before relying on fragile CSS overrides.
  • Test autoplay, controls, captions, fullscreen, and mobile layout on the published page.

Safe implementation checklist

  1. Publish the video and copy its generated embed.
  2. Use the exact production origin in allowed-domain settings when origin restriction is enabled.
  3. Keep signing keys and API credentials on a trusted server.
  4. Give every iframe a descriptive title and responsive dimensions.
  5. Verify approved and denied playback, then test the real page on mobile and desktop.
