Property video on your own listing pages

A tour uploaded to a public platform sends a buyer to somebody else’s recommendations for other agents’ properties. On your own listing page, with your own branding, the tour keeps the enquiry where it belongs — and comes down cleanly when the property does.

The problem

Where a property tour leaks the enquiry

A vendor pays for a tour and it gets uploaded to a public video platform, then embedded on the listing. The buyer watches, reaches the end, and is offered three other properties from three other agencies. The platform did exactly what it exists to do.

The second problem is lifecycle. The property sells, the listing comes down, and the tour stays up — still findable, still branded, still showing a home somebody now lives in. Nobody owns the job of taking it down because it was never really in the agency’s system.

Hosting the tour yourself fixes both: the video plays on your page with your branding and no competing recommendations, and it is an asset in your library that you can remove when the listing does.

The workflow

Listing video, start to finish

Including the step that only shows up months later.

  1. 01

Upload the tour and organise by listing

Upload once; the platform transcodes an adaptive ladder so a buyer on mobile data gets a watchable stream. Use projects to keep an office, a franchise or a campaign separate.

  2. 02

Embed on your own property page

Put the embed on the listing page you control, where the enquiry form is. This is the placement that actually converts, and the one where you decide what appears at the end of the video.

  3. 03

Treat each portal as its own question

Whether a portal or marketplace accepts a third-party embed is decided by that portal’s HTML, script and content-security rules — most prefer their own player and will strip yours. Test each one you care about, and expect to supply a file rather than an embed in some cases.

  4. 04

Update and remove with the listing

Price change, new photography, sold. Make video part of the listing checklist so a tour is replaced or removed at the same time the listing changes, rather than outliving it.

  5. 05

    Review listing engagement

Completion tells you whether tours hold attention and roughly how long is too long. Useful for deciding what to brief your videographer on next — not for identifying individual buyers.

The mechanisms

What you get, stated plainly

Adaptive HLS playbackEvery viewer
Buyers watch on phones, often on mobile data, often outside the property. The quality ladder is the difference between a tour that plays and one that stalls.
Player and brand configurationProject level
Player appearance and behaviour are configurable per project, and logo and brand-text controls are entitlement-dependent — confirm what your plan includes before promising a vendor a fully branded tour.
Origin-restricted playbackPer project
Playback keys follow the allowed-domain list you configure, so with a non-empty list and the account-level key exemption off a tour embed cannot simply be lifted onto a competitor’s page.
Library managementLifecycle
Videos are records you can update or remove, through the dashboard or the API — which is what makes lifecycle management possible at all.
Aggregate engagement reportingPopulation level
Plays, watch seconds, completion and aggregate device and geography views.
Buyer-identified viewing reportsPlus and larger plans
Supply your own buyer ID in the embed to connect accepted playback events to that identifier and your existing CRM workflow.

Fit

Who this suits

  • Best for — agencies with their own site

You have listing pages you control and want tours to play there with your branding and no competing recommendations.

  • Best for — multi-office and franchise

Projects separate offices or brands, so each can have its own player configuration from one account.

  • Best for — developers and new-build

A development markets for months or years. A managed library beats scattered platform uploads when the same assets are reused across campaigns.

  • Own-site listing campaigns

Use DynTube on listing and campaign pages you control, where the player, branding, engagement reporting and enquiry journey can work together. Test each essential MLS or marketplace destination, and ask us for written confirmation of the accepted delivery path.

Test one tour on your own listing page

Upload a recent tour, embed it on a live listing, and watch it on a phone away from wifi. Then try the same embed on the one portal you care most about.
