How StreamAI Transcription and Translation Pricing Works
StreamAI meters the audio minutes it processes for each language pass. The current pricing page publishes the rate and available volume choices; this guide explains the calculation so you can estimate a video, back catalogue, or recurring workflow before requesting or purchasing volume.
Count processed minutes per language
Transcribing a 10-minute source uses 10 processing minutes. Translating the completed transcript into one additional language processes the same duration again, for 20 total minutes across two language passes. Two translations after transcription produce three passes, or 30 processing minutes for that 10-minute video.
Use this estimate
audio duration × total language passes = processing minutes- Add the audio duration of the videos you will process.
- Count one pass for source-language transcription.
- Add one pass for each target-language translation.
- Multiply total duration by total passes.
- Apply the current published per-minute rate or compare the result with the volume offered for your account.
Estimate a library accurately
Use actual media duration when available rather than file size. Separate one-time back-catalogue work from ongoing monthly publishing, and allow a small review budget for reprocessing a source whose language or audio was incorrect. Re-editing text manually does not require you to assume another automatic processing pass unless you submit new processing.
Workflow order
Complete and review transcription before requesting translations. Corrections to names, terminology, and punctuation in the source make the translation review more useful. Then generate each required target language, review it, and test its label and timing in the player.
Confirm current terms
Use the live StreamAI pricing page for the published rate and request flow, and use the Dashboard for your current plan, balance, or available volume. StreamAI is used with videos hosted on DynTube; storage and delivery remain part of the underlying video-hosting plan rather than the language-pass calculation.
