Video hosting for marketing videos
Put product demos, explainers and campaign videos directly on the pages where customers make decisions. Match the player to your brand, add calls to action, capture leads on supported plans and use engagement data to improve the next edit.
The video, and the page it lands on
The marketing journey
Connect the page, player and next action
A marketing video performs a specific job inside a wider journey. Design the player and measurement around the action you want after the viewer understands the message.
Without control
Before publishing
Decide what the video should help the visitor understand and what they should do next.
- Place the video close to the claim or product it explains
- Choose one primary call to action for the page
- Decide whether aggregate or user-id reporting fits the journey
- Configure capture fields only when someone will follow up
On your own terms
After publishing
Use viewing behaviour to improve the message and the path around it.
- Review plays, watch time, completion and retention
- Compare where different edits lose attention
- Export user-level reports when you supplied the user ID
- Route captured form submissions into your follow-up process
What is actually here
The marketing-relevant capabilities, with their gates
Use the capabilities that match your funnel, and check plan availability before designing a campaign around them.
- Aggregate retention reportingStandard
- Plays, watch time, completion and audience rollups. The retention shape is the genuinely useful artefact: it shows where a message stops holding people, which is what you change in the next edit. Cohort and funnel-style advanced reporting is a separate, higher-tier feature.
- In-player interaction cuesStandard
- Cues can be placed on the timeline to surface a prompt or a link at a chosen moment — the honest version of an in-video call to action. What happens after the click is your landing page’s job.
- Form-based lead captureMid and upper plans
- A form block can capture a viewer’s details in the player. This is a capture mechanism, not an attribution one: it tells you someone submitted a form on a video, and it does not retroactively identify everyone else who watched.
- Player branding and origin restrictionNot on the entry plan
- Saved player presets and playback limited to the origins you list, both plan features rather than defaults. The standard landscape layouts carry no vendor logo or wordmark, and there is no logo component in the current player — so confirm any wider branding requirement with us in writing.
Questions
What marketers ask before switching hosts
Can I see which prospect watched my demo video?
Only if you tell us who they are. DynTube assigns no viewer identity of its own, but the embed accepts a user id you supply, and the dashboard then offers per-user reporting and an export against that id. Custom user-id analytics is documented as available on Plus and larger plans. What does not exist is a CRM or marketing-automation connector, so identifying the viewer on your side and joining the data to a contact record is work your team does.
How do captured leads enter my follow-up workflow?
Use the captured-form data and available exports as inputs to the customer and campaign tools your team already operates. When you need an automated flow, design it through the available API surface on a plan that includes API access.
So what is the reporting actually good for?
Deciding what to change. A retention curve shows you the second where attention falls away, which tells you whether the opening is too slow or the middle is too long. That is a content decision, and it is worth answering before adding attribution you have no plan to act on.
Will there be ads or recommendations around my marketing video?
DynTube does not insert its own advertising or show a cross-account recommendation rail. Your page and your own playlists determine what the viewer sees next.
